# Tokenomics

We believe that a token allows for us to form a sticky userbase, and allows people to express their shared enthusiasm for the project. 

We are working on ways to meaningfully reward token holders, but we want to do so in a methodical, thoughtful, and sustainable way. We're considering a variety of options including: 

* Burn $Lethe whenever anyone makes a transaction
* Charging a fee and airdropping it to holders
* Token gating the functionality

We are meeting with lawyers from some of the best firms that specialize in privacy technology and crypto to plan out something that rewards holders in a sustainable, non-gimmicky way
